OVERVIEW OF THE GAME
All eight players have split into pairs – one playing to leave the relationship and another player playing to get married
Once players have rolled the dice to move their character around the board and collect cards from landing on either the white board squares (LET’S NOT GET HITCHED and take a card from the REASONS NOT TO GET MARRIED CARD SET) or the green board squares (LETS GET HITCHED – and take a card from the REASONS TO GET MARRIED CARD SET)
The cards you have collected may be played at any time during the game once you have collected a minimum of 12 cards – this allows the players time to collect cards to counter act a card played
The player playing to leave the relationship is always the player who challenges their partner (who is playing to get married) Each card in the card sets – has a specific opposite card – so that to counter act a card played – you must play the specific opposite card which has been played to challenge their partner
Each player receives either a minus or plus card depending on the out come of the challenge – as set out below:
(as a variation to this way of playing – each player can challenge the other player with the cards they have collected)
ALLOCATION OF PLUS (+) OR MINUS POINTS
The player who makes the challenge by playing one of their cards – RECIEVES PLUS 1 (+1) POINT – if their partner cannot answer the challenge by playing the opposite card
The player who cannot answer the challenge RECEIVES MINUS 1 POINT
The player who CAN ANSWER THE CHALLENGE – by playing the specific opposite card – RECIEVES PLUS 1 POINT
and the player who played the card and made the challenge – RECEIVES MINUS 1 POINT
